Our last trips to France was so much fun and such good flying that we now do this annually!
We are running a guided one week trip to our favourite flying sites in France and Italy, perhaps Switzerland, where ever the flying conditions are best at the time. There are so many amazing sites in the Alps, that our choices are near endless. After spending a few decades worth of summers in the Alps flying, we know enough places and people to find the perfect spot every day.
We base ourselves near Annecy, South of Doussard where we have a huge variety of sites in easy reach. We have a house and Gites beds booked there, but leave the rest option open to travel to the best sites for the weather should the conditions not be good in that area at any time during the course. Nothing worse than sitting in the rain when great flying is to be had elsewhere. This arrangement requires some flexibility from all of us, and is worth it!
This trip is for PG2 pilots and above pilots who can launch, fly and land without assistance. We give as much instructions and help as we can, in fact we find it hard not to, but we focus on fun flying, small task, weather briefings, discovering sites, and the social aspect of flying rather than structured teaching as we do in Auckland, Wanaka and Bright.

The price covers the vehicle hire and Eva's guiding and instructions.
Simply and comfortable accommodation for the entire time in our house and / or the adjacent mountain gite with double or maximum a triple room.
The rest of the accommodation should be travel elsewhere, gas, food, and everything else not listed, is NOT included, but will shared among the participants via Splitwise, including Eva's accommodation.

If we cancel due to Covid travel restrictions or the Russian / Ukrainian situation or similar, we can refund 90% of the cost, perhaps even 100% depending on some booking details.
I have booked the accomodation, so that we can cancel it short 10 days before the trip if needed. My travel costs are not an issue as I am going to Europe for other reasons as well. The vehicles can be cancelled. Only the last day of accommodation could be hard, but that is a small amount.
There are a lot of good flight deals available which allow changes and cancellations, e.g. Lufthansa has great deals at present.
